I have created a safe private practice space in Mornington, Victoria, where I offer supportive evidence based practice for both individuals and families. Additionally, I provide neurodiversity assessments and parent support sessions to meet the unique needs of each client.
I offer individual therapy and parent support sessions in-person, or via tele-health video or phone, for all ages across the lifespan.
Parent support sessions offer essential support to parents, equipping them with evidence based practice and strategies to effectively navigate the challenges of raising children in this ever changing world. These sessions can also complement individual therapy approaches, as well as provide insights from neurodiversity assessments to better understand each child's unique needs.
Sessions with children and their parent/s and sibling/s may allow for assessment of the family dynamics through evidence-based practice. These family therapy sessions are designed to help families build stronger relationships, improve communication, and resolve conflicts, while also offering individual therapy and parent support sessions. Additionally, they can facilitate neurodiversity assessments to better understand each family member's needs.
Discover your neurotype through neurodiversity assessments in a friendly and supportive environment. I provide evidence-based practice in Autism and ADHD assessments for both children and adults, along with individual therapy. Additionally, I offer parent support sessions to ensure families receive the guidance and support they need.
I may conduct visits to assess and support children with their needs in the school and kinder environment. This includes participation in student support group (SSG) meetings and collaboration with teaching staff to develop children’s Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to ensure children are comprehensively supported.
I am committed and passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest research in evidence based practice. I draw upon a range of neuroaffirming and trauma informed therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Family Systems Therapy (FST), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to meet the changing needs of clients. Above all, I would describe my approach as supportive, person-centred, collaborative, and strength-based.
